Abyssinian facts
The Abyssinian is a breed of domestic short-haired cat. The breed is distinctive for its “ticked” coat, in which individual hairs are striped.
The Abyssinian is one of, if not the oldest breed of cat. Archeological studies have found the cats in Egyptian tombs to be similar to the modern variant.
In personality the breed is generally active and curious and can act very dog-like, following their “owners” around, watching them interact with the world
The Abyssinian is also considered to be one of the smartest breeds of cat.
